NORSK (English below)
Gunnvor Balaclava is a balaclava worked in garter stitch. It is worked from the forehead and back to create a square. You pick up stitches to create the sides of the balaclava which are worked towards the neck. From here, you can choose to finish the balaclava in a short version with ribbing around the neck, or with longer neck for a two-in-one hat and neck-warmer. The short version is worked in the round and finished with double-knitting and italian bind-off. For the long version, you work both sides of the neck separately in garter stitch. The upper part of the neck is sewn together and the balaclava is finished wih i-cord edges.
Finally, you pick up stitches around the opening for the face which is worked in ribbing. You make two pom-poms to sewn on top of the balaclava.
